Internet

Internet via wall socket is included in the rent. To ensure you have the best possible internet access during your stay, we kindly ask you to bring your own wireless router.
If you have a device, connect it to the network socket with the network cable in the apartment and use DHCP configuration on the WAN/Internet port on your device/router.

Rent | Rent

We apply prepayment on a monthly basis. The invoice is emailed to the address on the rental contract.

Ventilation

The ventilation system is centrally controlled via the bathrooms, so we would appreciate it if you keep the bathroom door ajar so that the air can circulate in the apartment. NOTE! Make sure that the ventilation is in the open position (see picture).

Fire | Fire

The assembly point is the PARKING LOT.
Make sure you know the nearest emergency exit and the fire escapes on the second floor (apartments 9-13). In apartments 14 and 15, exit via a kitchen chair or kitchen table through the skylight.
You are responsible for changing the batteries in the smoke alarm in the apartment. You can pick up batteries at the reception at Råbylunds Gård. Email info@rabylundsgard.se beforehand.

Cleaning & Bedding | Cleaning & bedding

You are responsible for the ongoing cleaning of the apartment during your rental period. It is important that you take good care of the apartment and ensure it is in good condition. When you move out, we arrange for final cleaning for a fee that is settled against your deposit (see rental agreement). Any damage must be compensated by the tenant when moving out if it has not occurred due to normal wear and tear.
You are responsible for and bear the cost of replacing light bulbs in your apartment and vacuum cleaner bags.

We provide bedding, pillows, duvets and towels during your stay. You do your own laundry and everything is left behind when you move out. You will also find a vacuum cleaner in the laundry room if you do not have one in your apartment. The floors inside the apartment are wooden floors and can therefore only withstand wet mopping with mild detergents such as soap. Wet mop with a small amount of water.

You are responsible for cleaning the apartment during your rental period. It is important that you take good care of the apartment and make sure it is in good condition. Moving Out | Moving out

When you move out, we expect you to do a thorough cleaning of your apartment – e.g., emptying the garbage, fridge and freezer and removing items that you have brought into the apartment such as dry goods, spices, soap, etc.

Before moving out, please notify info@rabylundsgard.se at least 5 days before your planned moving out date when you will be leaving your key.

We are primarily on site Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, from 08:00 to 16:00. 08.00-16.00.

The laundry room is on the second floor and you book via the schedule on the door. Bring your own laundry products and leave the laundry room clean and tidy when you are done.

Manual for Wooden Blinds | Manual wooden blinds

To tilt the blind: Pull the cord on the desired tilt line to angle the slats in the open/closed position. Tilt the blind horizontally before pulling it up/lowering it down to extend the life of the blind.
To lower the blind: Move the lift cord towards the center of the blind and pull slowly down until the cord stopper releases the cord.
To raise the blind: Pull the lift cord downwards until the blind is at the desired height.
To lock the cords: Pull the lift cord towards the outside of the blind and release. The cord will automatically lock.

To tilt the blind: Pull the lint tuft of the desired tilt line to angle the slats in the open/closed position. Angle the blind horizontally before pulling/dropping it down to extend the life of the blind.
To drop down the blind: Move the rope towards the centre of the blind and pull slowly down until the cord stopper releases the cord.
To pull up the blind: Pull the rope downwards until the blind is at the desired height.
To lock the ropes: Pull the rope towards the outside of the blind and release. The line will be automatically locked.

Air Heat Pump (Apartments 8A, B, C) | Air heat pump

If you live in apartment 8A, B, or C, you have an air heat pump as a heating source. This can also be used as AC. The manual is available in each apartment.

Please note that this needs to be cleaned at regular intervals. Turn off the unit. Carefully open the plastic cover on the front. Under the cover there are 2 filters in rails (blue frames). Remove these. Shake them off outdoors or carefully vacuum these filters and put them back in the rails. Close the cover. Turn the unit back on. No cleaning agents or vacuum cleaners should be used inside the heat pump.

You live just a stone’s throw from central Lund in a quiet area under constant development. Here you can exercise around the lake, go to the playground with the little ones or just take a lovely walk in the village. At Råbylunds Gård you can enjoy good food and drinks in our restaurant!

In Linero, which is just over 2 km away, you will find a small center with a grocery store, pharmacy, pizzeria, etc.

We require you to sort your waste. Bins are available at the entrance by the mailboxes. A guide to recycling is available at the garbage room and at Sorteringsguide | Sysav – tar hand om och återvinner avfall.

Food waste bags are available in the laundry room.

We all help to keep the area around the bins tidy. If you have bulky waste or waste that cannot be thrown in the bins, we refer you to Sysav’s recycling center at Gastelyckan, just 4 minutes away (located next to Biltema). If, for example, the container for paper packaging is full, we kindly ask you to wait to dispose of the waste until the container has been emptied.
